[Decline of Video Gaming 3]

games decline but this series shines! (groan)

while the series may have started as the guys ripping the p*** out of their most (or least) favourite game series in the confines of a shop, It has grown to be quite a fantastic series. and the first one was brilliant as well. I really like how the evil developers fit the evil "genius" architype with their fatally flawed plans backfiring or being so bad that they actually get openly mocked by one of the three super flash bros (the waterga spell being my prime example). and of course, this storyline is a prime source of gaming parody gold. its really hard to see where they could take this series now without retreading at least some of the ground covered. but considering how good these are, Im sure theres no reason we wont see decline 4 being as good if not better than the rest

[FF7: About Random Battles]

as legendary and super as the makers themselves

This is my favourite FF7 parody I've seen so far. with great graphics and animations, plus a "cameo" from the classic Chocobo theme tune (must be in there to be a truely great FF parody) and also a really funny voice of the narrator. Also the bonus scenes (which I thank my mate for unlocking for me-I'm useless at materia madness) featuring a much broader scope than the movie itself (especially the "ultimate parody") are all brilliantly done especially the innuendo in the barret and tifa scene.

brilliant little cartoon this

I would do a seperate review of step 1 as well but to save time i'll do both here. I really like the styling of the characters and animation and how it manages to put across quite a complex (ish) storyline without even using dialogue. Also, the music is SO catchy it's insane!

A parody of a japanese game...... in japanese!!!!

What can I say? This is the single best FF parody I have seen so far, especially with the school setting making for some funny situations that otherwise wouldn't have come about, especially with how the fight scenes play out (Chocobo cram school lol). Also, Pensuke's victory song is brilliant in how well it fits the classic FF "battle won" tune I couldn't stop laughing the first time I heard it. I would like to see another movie from this maker but he shouldn't feel forced to make a sequel to this if he doesn't want to, I would agree that this movie is complete and another unrelated movie (not necessarily an FF parody) would be nice.

The legendary Xiao Xiao the third!!!

I dont understand why so many people have slated this just cos it's popular and has a reference to matrix at the end because to see it as anything other than an amazingly-slick kung fu fight spectacular is rather ludicrous. One negative review had a massive rant about how old the matrix is and how many new good films are out etc. so what I say to that guy is COULD YOU DO BETTER? I mean, to make not only a really fast action packed battle of punches, kicks, throws and weapons with bits of slo-mo added in but then to top it off with a full 3D replica of the classic matrix kick using only a flash animator or similar product.
